Render and vray sun settings.jpg. For these render settings it was just a test render, but for a final render i would usually just increase the render.

1 year agoI've been doing some interior renders (High or Best quality, of course) on Revit, but sometimes I get the unexplained grainy quality seen in the image below; along with the settings implemented.

Why is this the case? And what can be done to eliminate that grainy look?
PS. while I have you, the design is supposed to be a bar/restaurant I did for university last year. Any further tips on what I can do to further improve the interior design will be greatly appreciated. I plan to include this project into my portfolio :)

Hi Reddit. I hope you can help me with my simple architectural animation. I am running C4D R13 with V-ray and have problems with rendering glass material. I've applied a simple glass material (just reflection layer) to a canopy and the result is a great deal of 'noise' or 'grainyness' on the material.
What should I do?
Since it's an animation, I need render times to be relatively low and have set the GI settings thereafter, but if I increase the Adaptive DMC subdivision in the antialiasing settings it improves moderately. This increases rendering times dramatically though.
